DeMar DeRozan canned a 3-pointer and converted a three-point play in the final three minutes Sunday night, enabling the Toronto Raptors to hold off the Charlotte Hornets 103-98 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

A Lowry fadeaway jumper with 1:24 left in the second quarter gave Toronto its first double-digit lead at 51-41, but Charlotte was able to slice its halftime deficit to 52-43 thanks to a pull-up jumper from Batum with 42.1 seconds remaining.
Howard's putback pulled the Hornets within 58-56 at the 6:58 mark of the third, but the Raptors surged again. Ibaka and Valanciunas drained back-to-back 3s to start a run that eventually led to an 82-69 advantage after three periods.
