The Miami Heat saw a five-game winning streak end with a thud Saturday in Philadelphia, and they'll try to get back to basics at home against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. The Heat fell behind by 15 points after one quarter against the 76ers and could not come up with any sort of rally while making a season low-tying six 3-pointers.

Jimmy Butler was held to 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting and sat out the entire fourth quarter in his return to Philadelphia, where he played most of last season. "The discouraging thing was that our lack of offensive efficiency and lack of seeing the ball go through the basket then really affected our defensive effort and toughness from there," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters Saturday. "We're much better than what we showed, particularly defensively." The Hornets are struggling through their second four-game losing streak of the month after falling 116-115 to Chicago on a 3-pointer in the final second Saturday. Terry Rozier scored 28 points on 8-of-12 shooting in the loss.

ABOUT THE HORNETS (6-11): Despite the last-second loss, Charlotte will try to take some comfort in rallying from an early double-digit deficit. "There was a lot of good to get back in that game," coach James Borrego told reporters. "I thought our guys played inspired. We won the boards and we won the paint. We did a number of things very well in this game. Gave ourselves a great shot, a great opportunity there, we just have not been able to close these last few games." Marvin Williams chipped in 21 points on 9-of-10 shooting off the bench for the Hornets.

ABOUT THE HEAT (11-4): Tyler Herro was the bright spot at Philadelphia with 20 points in a season-high 36 minutes. Fellow rookies Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn did not fare as well, combining for 10 points on 3-of-16 shooting -- 0-of-7 from 3-point range. Big man Meyers Leonard was held without a point in two of his last three games, spanning 31 minutes overall in the two scoreless affairs.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Butler shoots 37.9 percent at home but averages 8.4 assists, compared to 5.4 on the road.

2. Williams is 13-for-15 from the floor over the last two games after going 1-for-7 in a loss at Brooklyn on Wednesday.

3. The teams split four matchups last season.

PREDICTION: Heat 110, Hornets 98
