The Utah Jazz are feeling a bit better about themselves as they complete a three-game homestand Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Utah defeated Memphis 126-112 on Saturday to snap a three-game losing streak with their second victory in seven games after holding the Grizzlies to 18 second-quarter points.

“We just had to look ourselves in the mirror and figure it out as an individual - how to better the team by doing your job,” the Jazz's Jeff Green told reporters after matching a season high with 19 points. “We did that over the last two days and practice we competed. We communicated a lot better and it translated into (this win), so I’ll take that.” Oklahoma City kicked off a four-game road trip with a 108-96 victory over Portland on Sunday, improving to 3-7 on the road this season. The Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander took over the team scoring lead with 21 versus the Trail Blazers, raising his season average to 18.7. Utah snapped a four-game losing streak in the series with a 100-95 victory in the season opener for both teams behind 32 points and 12 rebounds from Donovan Mitchell.

ABOUT THE THUNDER (10-12): Danilo Gallinari entered Sunday's game tied with Gilgeous-Alexander in points but scored a season-low 12 versus Portland. Dennis Schroder (16.3 points per game) had 21 off the bench Sunday and has recorded at least 21 in four of his last seven games. Coach Billy Donovan told reporters that Terrance Ferguson (hip) will miss his third straight game Monday.

ABOUT THE JAZZ (13-10): Mitchell (team-high 24.6 points per game) explained why Utah was successful against Memphis. "We moved the ball," Mitchell told reporters. "We were all on the same page, for the most part, trying to get each other involved. That's just how we have to continue to play." Bojan Bogdanovic (20.9) and Rudy Gobert (14.2) each scored 19 points Saturday while Joe Ingles became the first Utah player this season with double-digit assists after recording 10.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Utah PG Mike Conley (13.9 points, team-high 4.6 assists) will miss his third consecutive game with a hamstring injury.

2. Oklahoma City has won four straight and is 5-3 this season when Schroder scores 20 or more points.
