Frustration seems to be building for the Los Angeles Clippers, who will try to snap a five-game losing streak when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday. The Clippers picked up three technical fouls during a 111-103 loss to New Orleans on Saturday, as a banged-up bunch could not keep up with Pelicans stars Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins.

"This day and time, they look at each other wrong, it's a foul," coach Doc Rivers said after his team was whistled for 25 fouls overall. "I don't know how they even play against each other anymore. It's so difficult." The continued absence of point guard Patrick Beverley (knee) and forward Danilo Gallinari (glute) has also made things difficult for Rivers' team, which would like to right the ship before beginning a five-game road trip at Cleveland on Friday. The 76ers are 1-2 on their own five-game swing following a 135-114 loss at Golden State on Saturday. JJ Redick, who scored a team-high 17 points in the loss, will be making his return to the Staples Center, where he played the last four seasons with the Clippers.

TV: 10:30 p.m. ET, NBCS Philadelphia, Prime Ticket (Los Angeles)

ABOUT THE 76ERS (6-6): Philadelphia's young stars just couldn't keep pace with Golden State's offensive barrage, as Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons combined to go 10-for-28 from the field and commit 11 turnovers. "We knew what we were coming into," Robert Covington told reporters. "This is one of those challenges that we have to take on. But we will see them again in a week. We will be better prepared. We have an idea how they are going to play. And we are [going to make] it be a different outcome." Covington hit a pair of 3-pointers and enters Sunday's action ranked fifth in the NBA with 43 makes from beyond the arc while shooting 48.9 percent.

ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (5-7): Star forward Blake Griffin is shouldering a heavy load amid the team's struggles, and he is 14-for-46 from the floor while averaging 39 minutes in the last two games. Austin Rivers chipped in 19 points in Saturday's loss and DeAndre Jordan notched his sixth double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Each of the last three opponents for Los Angeles shot at least 51.3 percent.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Clippers SG Lou Williams is averaging 20.2 points during the five-game losing streak.

2. Sixers SG Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot hit all three of his 3-point tries at Golden State and is 11-for-22 from long range on the road.

3. The Clippers won four straight meetings at home.

PREDICTION: Clippers 115, 76ers 109
