It would be foolish to expect Indiana to replicate the level of success featured in its upset win over Cleveland last week. But it’s also incorrect to give eight points to a team playing this well and this consistently, especially when that team is playing at home. One reason for the larger spread is Tyrese Haliburton's status, who is doubtful with left hamstring soreness. That’s a real loss for the Pacers, but Haliburton only played 19 minutes against the Cavaliers before leaving with that injury on Sunday, scoring just two points. In other words, the Pacers have done this once largely without Haliburton, and I expect them to be competitive again tonight.

The red-hot Pacers are riding a seven-game winning streak when they host the Cavs. One of those wins was on Sunday at Cleveland. I anticipate the Cavaliers bouncing back on Tuesday. Tyrese Haliburton is doubtful, and Aaron Nesmith also made Indiana’s injury report. Once they are officially ruled out, Cleveland (-5.5) will be gone forever. The Cavs are 6-4-0 ATS across their past 10 with a 9-4-0 away ATS mark against a Pacers group with a .500 ATS home record.
