The New York Knicks have offered little resistance defensively against a string of quality competition and hope to reverse that trend against one the league's worst offensive squads when they visit the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. Boston, Golden State and the Los Angeles Clippers averaged 124.7 points in handing the Knicks three straight losses.

New York is 7-25 since just before Christmas and 8-25 on the road this season after the Clippers cruised 128-105 on Friday in the opener of the Knicks' four-game trip. "No defense," coach Jeff Hornacek told reporters after his team gave up 71 points in the second half. "It was like a layup line in the second half. All easy stuff." The Kings are one of two teams in the NBA averaging fewer than 100 points and they fell short of that mark in Saturday's 98-91 loss to Utah at home. Rookie De'Aaron Fox scored 17 points to lead the way for Sacramento, which has dropped 10 of its last 12 home games.

TV: 9 p.m. ET, MSG (New York), NBCS California (Sacramento)

ABOUT THE KNICKS (24-39): Enes Kanter collected 18 points and 14 rebounds in the loss to the Clippers for his 11th double-double in the past 13 games. The veteran big man posted another double-double with 17 points and 13 boards in a 118-91 victory over the Kings at home earlier this season. New York signed forward Troy Williams to a second 10-day contract after the 23-year-old scored 11 points in 17 minutes while making all three of his 3-point tries in Friday's loss.

ABOUT THE KINGS (19-44): Center Willie Cauley-Stein, who scored at least 17 points in each of his last four games, was out Saturday because of a back issue. Fellow Kentucky product Skal Labissiere picked up some of the slack by collecting his third double-double - and first since Jan. 2 - with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The 21-year-old Labissiere scored a team-high 19 points in the loss at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 11, when all five Sacramento starters were held to nine points or fewer.
