The Los Angeles Clippers are falling off the pace in the battle for a playoff spot in the Western Conference and are running out of time. The Clippers will try to earn their second win in the last seven games when they conclude a four-game road trip by visiting the East-leading Toronto Raptors on Sunday.

Los Angeles committed 15 turnovers in a 109-104 loss at the Indiana Pacers on Friday, including three during a key sequence in the fourth quarter. "It was frustrating. It was a frustrating loss," Clippers coach Doc Rivers told reporters. "I'm just disappointed in that one. Can't make that many mistakes and think you're going to win a game. They're (the Pacers) playing well, so give them credit. But, that was a frustrating game." The Raptors are closing in on clinching first place in the East and sit 4 1/2 games ahead of the Boston Celtics with nine left to play after coming from behind to beat the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. Toronto will get a chance to knock a pair of teams down in the West with the Denver Nuggets coming to town on Tuesday.

ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (38-34): Los Angeles responded well to a team meeting after losing at Minnesota to begin the road trip and knocked off Milwaukee 127-120 on Wednesday but couldn't carry the momentum to Indiana. The bright spot on Friday was a bounce back from guard Lou Williams, who scored 27 points on 10-of-18 shooting and added 10 assists in 36 minutes off the bench. The double-double was the second of the month for Williams, who had not matched a 20-point outing with at least 50 percent shooting since Feb. 27.

ABOUT THE RAPTORS (54-19): Toronto All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry broke his own franchise record for 3-pointers in a season when he buried 5-of-6 on Friday to push his season total to 215. "It's just his work ethic and his stick-to-it-iveness," Raptors coach Dwane Casey told reporters of Lowry. "The guy works on his three, gets in early in the morning, comes in before the games and gets it up." Lowry is averaging 24 points over the last four games and is 23-of-35 from 3-point range in that span.

BUZZER BEATERS

3. Los Angeles earned a 96-91 home win over Toronto on Dec. 11.

PREDICTION: Raptors 115, Clippers 108
