Arizona defeated rival Arizona State for the second time in five days Monday, prevailing 80-67 behind Terrell Brown Jr.'s 18 points at Tucson, Ariz.
Azuolas Tubelis added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats (12-3, 6-3 Pac-12), and James Akinjo added 16 points and six assists.
Remy Martin had 21 of his 24 points in the second half to lead Arizona State (4-8, 1-5 Pac-12). Jalen Graham added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Sun Devils, who have lost six consecutive games.

The Wildcats shot 53.5 percent from the field in the rematch and took advantage of the Sun Devils' 29 fouls to make 32 of 43 free-throw attempts.
Arizona State cut a 26-point, second-half deficit to 71-62 with 2:29 left on Martin's 3-pointer, but the Sun Devils could not get closer.
Arizona State missed its first 12 shots from the field in the game as Arizona built a 12-0 lead. The Sun Devils did not score until Marcus Bagley sank a layup with 13:16 left in the first half.
The Wildcats' first-half margin grew to as many 24 points when Tubelis made a layup to produce a 32-8 lead with 4:41 remaining.
Arizona freshman Bennedict Mathurin, who had eight points and seven rebounds at halftime, sustained a right ankle sprain late in the first half and did not return. He tried to put weight on his ankle during the warmup drills before the second half but hobbled to the locker room and remained there.
Arizona State made only one field goal in the first four minutes of the second half as Arizona built a 49-23 lead.
The Sun Devils' Josh Christopher, who was averaging 16.6 points a game before Monday, was limited to five points on 1-of-8 shooting from the field. He fouled out with 5:47 left in the game.
Fellow Arizona State freshman Bagley, who was averaging 12.8 points and 6.9 rebounds, fouled out with 4:44 left. He had seven points and three rebounds.
Kimani Lawrence, who scored two points, also fouled out for the Sun Devils.
