Johnny Juzang contributed game highs of 24 points and six rebounds to help third-ranked UCLA notch an 81-65 victory over Oregon State on Saturday night in Pac-12 play at Los Angeles.
Jules Bernard added 16 points as the Bruins (11-2, 3-1 Pac-12) won for the sixth time in their past seven games. Tyger Campbell scored 13 points and matched his career best of four steals, and Jaylen Clark had 11 points as UCLA rebounded from Thursday's 84-81 overtime loss to Oregon.
Dashawn Davis and Jarod Lucas scored 12 points apiece for the Beavers (3-13, 1-5), who dropped their third straight game.
Oregon State fell to 8-57 when playing the Bruins in Los Angeles.
The Bruins played without second-leading scorer Jaime Jaquez Jr. (13.3 points per game) due to a left ankle injury.
UCLA connected on 61.7 percent of its field-goal attempts, but was just 2 of 12 from 3-point range. Juzang scored 19 points in the second half to top 20 for the fourth time this season.
Oregon State made 43.9 percent from the field and was 8 of 20 from behind the arc.
Lucas hit a jumper 39 seconds into the second half to pull the Beavers within 43-37. However, UCLA answered with a 10-2 surge, and Juzang's jumper capped it and made it 53-39 with 16:15 remaining.
Juzang later scored the final five points of a 7-0 run as the Bruins increased their lead to 60-44 with 11:50 left.
Oregon State moved within 68-58 on Dexter Akanno's 3-pointer with 5:32 remaining.
A short time later, Campbell's layup capped another 7-0 run as UCLA boosted its lead to 77-60 with 1:31 left en route to closing it out.
UCLA shot 69.6 percent (16 of 23) from the field in the first half while holding a 43-35 lead. Clark scored all 11 of his points in the half on 5-of-5 shooting.
Oregon State's last lead came at 26-25 after a 3-pointer by Tre' Williams with 7:23 left in the half. The Bruins responded with a 15-4 burst to open up a 10-point lead on Campbell's layup with 2:53 to play.
