Jalen Bridges had 18 points, Keyonte George added 17 and No. 11 Baylor earned an 89-62 victory over visiting Texas Tech in Big 12 play on Saturday at Waco, Texas.
Bridges shot 7 of 12 from the field, including 2 of 5 from 3-point range, to go along with a team-high eight rebounds. George hit 7 of 11 from the floor, including 2 of 3 from beyond the arc, and added five rebounds and three assists.
Adam Flagler chipped in 13 points and a game-high eight assists for Baylor.
The Bears (17-6, 6-4 Big 12) led by as many as 30 points in the second half, shot 35 of 65 (53.8 percent) from the field and were an impressive 10 of 24 (41.7 percent) from 3-point range. Baylor, which has won seven of its past eight games, outrebounded the Red Raiders 36-27.
Texas Tech (12-11, 1-9), which has dropped nine of its past 11 games, was led by Jaylon Tyson, who had a career-high 19 points to go along with a game-high 10 rebounds. De'Vion Harmon had 20 points and four rebounds.
The Red Raiders shot 24 of 55 (43.6 percent) from the field, including 5 of 20 (25.0 percent) from beyond the arc.
Baylor put the game away after Harmon's layup pulled the Red Raiders to 40-38 less than a minute into the first half. The Bears went on a 19-5 run to take a 59-43 lead following Bridges' layup with 10:44 remaining.
Baylor stretched its advantage to 70-45 on Bridges' 3-pointer with 8:05 to play.
The Bears led by as many as eight in the first half before the Red Raiders pulled to within 38-34 at halftime.
George and Flagler scored 10 points apiece in the first 20 minutes for Baylor, which shot 14 of 29 (48.3 percent) from the field, including 4 of 12 (33.3 percent) from beyond the arc.
Texas Tech was led by Harmon's 12 first-half points, while Tyson added seven.
The Red Raiders shot 14 of 28 (50.0 percent) from the field, including 2 of 8 (25.0 percent) from distance in the first half.
