N'Faly Dante had 15 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks as Oregon secured a first-round bye in next week's Pac-12 tournament with a 73-68 win over visiting Stanford on Saturday.
Keeshawn Barthelemy made four 3-pointers and scored 14 points for Oregon (18-13, 12-8), which won its third straight and will be the No. 4 seed at the conference tourney in Las Vegas. Will Richardson added 10 points and six assists.
Spencer Jones and Brandon Angel scored 18 points apiece for Stanford (13-18, 7-13), while Harrison Ingram tallied 11 points, eight rebounds and four assists. The Cardinal were outscored in bench points 30-6 and lost for the fourth time in their last six games.
Oregon avenged a 71-64 loss to Stanford on Jan. 21 by shooting 45.6 percent from the field and 9 of 23 (39.1 percent) from 3-point range.
The Cardinal trailed by 12 midway through the second half, but stayed within striking distance and pulled within 70-66 on Ingram's layup with 2:28 left.
Dante recorded two critical blocks in the final two minutes to help stave off Stanford's comeback. Oregon earned the victory despite going without a field goal in the final 3:38.
Stanford jumped to an 18-9 lead before Oregon battled back and never trailed again after moving ahead 22-21 on Barthelemy's trey with 7:28 left in the half.
The Cardinal trailed 39-34 at the break despite shooting 7 of 12 from 3-point range in the first half. Jones scored 12 points to lead all scorers.
Dante scored 10 points in the first half for Oregon.
Stanford, which began the day tied for ninth place in the Pac-12 standings, cut the deficit to 57-54 when Angel's 3-pointer capped a 9-0 run with 6:48 remaining.
Maxime Raynaud had 10 points and seven rebounds for Stanford, which shot 9 of 16 (56.3 percent) from the foul line.
