Caleb Asberry scored a season-high 24 points and Bryce Thompson added 19 to lift visiting Oklahoma State to a 71-68 victory over Texas Tech on Saturday in Lubbock, Texas.
Asberry made 7 of 12 shots from 3-point range and added six rebounds to help the Cowboys (17-14, 8-10 Big 12) snap a five-game losing skid.
Thompson converted three shots from beyond the arc to aid in Oklahoma State's bid to complete a season sweep of Texas Tech. He scored a game-high 21 points to help the Cowboys post a 71-68 victory over the Red Raiders on Feb. 8.
Texas Tech transfer Tyreek Smith scored 11 points and Moussa Cisse collected six points, nine rebounds and four blocks for Oklahoma State.
Pop Isaacs, Jaylon Tyson, Fardaws Aimaq and De'Vion Harmon each scored nine points for the Red Raiders (16-15, 5-13), who have lost three in a row.
Texas Tech overcame a 13-point deficit and claimed a one-point lead at 63-62 after Tyson sank a 3-pointer with 2:19 remaining in the second half.
Asberry answered with a 3-pointer from the corner and Cisse made a dunk to push Oklahoma State's advantage to 67-63. Harmon's layup halved the deficit for the Red Raiders but John-Michael Wright made a free throw and Cisse added another dunk.
Isaacs sank a long 3-pointer with three seconds to play to trim Oklahoma State's lead to 70-68. Asberry made one of two free throws before Tyson's off-balance 3-point attempt was off the mark.
Oklahoma State extended its three-point lead at halftime to 13 at 53-40 due in large part to Asberry, who drained three 3-pointers.
The Cowboys seized an early 18-6 lead behind the sharp shooting of Thompson, who made a trio of 3-pointers and a pair of jumpers in that stretch.
Texas Tech whittled that 12-point deficit down to three at halftime. Isaacs led the charge by draining a pair of long 3-pointers.
