Jaden Henley scored 15 points, Jalen Terry had 14 and Elijah Fisher added 12 for the Blue Demons (3-26, 0-18), who have lost 17 in a row.
Butler began to pull away in the middle of the first half with a huge scoring run. After a 17-0 run put the Bulldogs up 32-19, they eventually went on another 9-0 run to seize a 41-21 advantage.
Over nearly a 10-minute stretch of the half, Butler's run totaled 27-2. The Bulldogs' made nine of 10 field goals in that stretch while DePaul failed to score for over six minutes.
The Bulldogs went into the break leading 45-27, led by all 16 of Brooks' points. They shot 55 percent from the floor and committed just one turnover after committing 63 turnovers during their five-game losing streak.
DePaul fought back in the second half, shooting just under 50 percent from the floor as a team led by 11 points from both Henley and Terry in the second half alone.
Despite that, they were never able to get over the hump of their double-digit deficit. With about four minutes to go, Butler put the game to bed by re-gaining a nearly 20-point advantage. Davis scored 16 of his 24 in the half including three 3-pointers.
Butler won its ninth consecutive matchup against DePaul after sweeping the two-game season series for the fourth season in a row. The Bulldogs improve to 20-2 against their conference rival since 2014.
