The UConn offense digs deep into the shot clock. Motion, ball movement, screens, all needs time to set up looks. They’re patient and don’t rush shots Against an offense as capable as Illinois, you have to play a little defense on offense and extending possessions and limiting Illini’s touches are part of the plan.
As well, Illinois extremely active on the offensive glass with those bigs crashing from the perimeter. A ton of second-chance points power this offense. UConn, however, very good on the defensive glass and don’t give up many extra cracks. If UConn wins this, it’s because they hold Illinois to one shot per possession.

Yaxel Lendeborg o3.5 Assists (+130)
Yaxel Lendeborg is going to have the ball in his hands a lot. Arizona does have some one-on-one options, but it may not be solutions and the Wildcats will have to send doubles to slow Yaxel down. He's handed out four or more assists in three of the four NCAA Tournament games, including seven vs. Alabama. Game projections lean toward four dimes and we're getting good value at this plus-money price.

Nothing easy comes inside and they’re resort to 3-point shooting, which isn’t great for either side. And then you’re playing in the cavernous Lucas Oil Stadium with that massive depth, making it hard to find range. I like the Under 1H 74.5 a little more than the full game, especially since we’ve seen both teams do their best in the final 20 minutes. It will take time to feel each other out and get used to shooting in a football stadium.
