The Pavilion at Ole Miss

Ole Miss has one final tune-up before things get heated in non-conference play - and that tune-up takes place Tuesday against visiting Seattle. Following this contest, the Rebels must get ready to visit a talented Memphis squad followed by its appearance in the main portion of the NIT Tip-Off preseason tournament.

Ole Miss has won its first three games, allowing fewer than 60 points in each outing while posting a trio of double-digit victories. The team trounced Western Michigan 85-58 its last time out with Breein Tyree scoring a team-high 20 points and Devontae Shuler adding 16. Rebels coach Kermit Davis said afterwards: "I tell Devontae and Breein that the ball finds the best players. When you run good offense, the ball will find the best players." Meanwhile, Seattle has lost three of its last four, including two losses to Power 5 programs in Washington State (85-54) and Syracuse (89-67).

TV: 7:30 p.m ET, SEC Network+

ABOUT SEATTLE (2-3): Terrell Brown was the team's leading scorer against Syracuse with 24 points, although he shot just 10-of-24 - a rare off-night shooting for the junior guard. Brown (22.6 points) is shooting over 50 percent from the field this season, as is second-leading scorer Myles Carter (15.0), who is tied with Brown for the team leading with eight rebounds per game. Seattle leads the nation in free throws made (98) and is shooting 78.4 percent from the foul line as a team.

ABOUT OLE MISS (3-0): The Rebels currently rank sixth in the nation in points allowed (52.0) and 10th in the nation in steals (12.0). Opponents are shooting only 33.1 percent against the Rebels, who are allowing the competition to make just 22.2 percent of its 3-pointers through three games. KJ Buffen (14.7 points) is third on the team in scoring behind Shuler (16.0) and Tyree (15.7) and is shooting 76.2 percent so far, ranking him among the most efficient scorers in the country thus far.

TIP-INS

1. Only four times in Rebels history has the team allowed fewer points than the current group has allowed through four games (156).

2. This is the first meeting between the teams. It is considered a campus game in the NIT Tip-Off.

3. Ole Miss G Luis Rodriguez is the team's glue guy, averaging 6.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.7 blocks so far.

PREDICTION: Ole Miss 80, Seattle 60
