Only Princeton stands between Indiana and its first 5-0 start since the 2013-14 season when the teams square off Wednesday night as part of the Indiana Challenge. The Hoosiers have won their first four games at home by an average margin of 27 points.

The first real heavyweight opponents won't show up on Indiana's schedule until December, giving the Hoosiers some time to prepare for more challenging games against Florida State, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Arkansas. The Hoosiers' only action this week comes against winless Princeton, the second opponent in the four-game Indiana Challenge. The Tigers were routed in their opener by Duquesne and then lost to San Francisco on the road and Lafayette at home. The Hoosiers' latest conquest was a 100-62 victory over Troy on Saturday that coach Archie Miller called the team's best defensive effort so far.

ABOUT PRINCETON (0-3): The Tigers once had a reputation as a defensive-minded team, but their opponents are averaging 82.7 points and shooting 51.4 percent from the field and 46.3 percent on 3-pointers in the first three games. Offensively, guard Jaelin Llewellyn and 6-foot-9, 230-pound senior center Richmond Aririguzoh share the team scoring lead at 17.3 points per game. Miller described Aririguzoh, also averaging a team-best 7.7 rebounds, as the first low-post threat the Hoosiers have faced this season.

ABOUT INDIANA (4-0): The Hoosiers are producing on the offensive end of the floor, averaging a Big Ten-leading 93.5 points per game and ranking fifth in the country entering Tuesday in free throw attempts (130) and third in foul shots made (97). Multiple players have contributed, including Al Durham (16.8 points per game, 14-of-14 free throw shooting), Justin Smith (22 points, 8-for-9 from the field versus Troy), freshman Trayce Jackson Davis (14.5 points, 9.5 rebounds) and Rob Phinisee (11.3 points, 5.3 assists). Damezi Anderson scored 14 points in 16 minutes against Troy to boost his average to 8.7 points.

TIP-INS

1. Indiana senior G Devonte Green (hamstring) made his season debut Saturday and made 2-of-8 shots from the field and 1-of-6 from 3-point range.

2. Jackson-Davis was named the Big Ten's co-Freshman of the Week on Monday after averaging 18.5 points and 11 rebounds in the last two games.

3. Indiana's 3-point accuracy has improved from 31.2 percent in 2018-19 to 36.2 percent through four games this season - an increase that Miller attributes to better shot selection and identifying the best shooters from beyond the arc to take those long-range attempts.

PREDICTION: Indiana 87, Princeton 59
