South Florida looks to snap a two-game losing streak when it hosts non-conference foe Wofford on Thursday. The Bulls lost to IUPUI on Nov. 13, 70-53, while the Terriers have dropped three in a row coming into this one, falling to Missouri by 19 on Monday.

Wofford employs a three-guard lineup, with a pair of high-scorers in senior Nathan Hoover (team highs of 16.8 points and 4.6 rebounds) and juinor Storm Murphy (16.2). Murphy is one of the top shooters in the country, hitting 55.6 percent from beyond the arc this season, tying for 24th in the nation. USF has its own duo of scoring guards, led by junior David Collins, who averages 13.3 points, 2.3 assists and 3.3 steals per contest. He's joined by senior Laquincy Rideau, who averages 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3.7 steals, giving the Bulls two of the top 20 steals averages in the nation.

TV: 7 p.m. ET, ESPN3.

ABOUT WOFFORD (2-3): The Terriers have had some trouble getting some interior scoring this season, with three of the team's top four scorers being guards. It doesn't help that there isn't a lot of height on the Wofford roster, but there is hope as well, with 6-9 junior forward Chevez Goodwin third on the team with 10 points a game and 6-8 freshman forward Messiah Jones contributing 4.8 off the bench. The Terriers are also doing better on the boards, outrebounding an opponent for the first time this season in their loss to Missouri.

ABOUT USF (1-2):
The duo of Collins and Rideau are scoring 43.1 percent of USF's points this season, but what happens when they're either not hitting their shots or even in the game? Unfortunately, coach Brian Gregory found out in the loss to IUPUI, as Collins and Rideau were both saddled with foul trouble for a while, forcing the rest of the Bulls to try to fend without them. It didn't work out well, with USF finishing with more turnovers (23) than field goals (20) and finishing with 37 percent shooting from the floor in the home loss.

TIP-INS

1. Murphy is one of four Terriers that hasn't missed a free throw this season, going 10-for-10 from the line.

2. USF is third in the nation in turnovers forced with 23.7 per game.

3. Collins is averaging 8.6 free-throw attempts per game this season but is only hitting 61.5 percent from the line.

PREDICTION: USF 78, Wofford 70
