North Carolina State made it through a stretch of three games in seven days and had some time to catch its breath this week prior to a matchup against visiting Little Rock on Saturday. The Wolfpack defeated Alcorn State 87-64 on Tuesday and have won four straight since a season-opening overtime loss to Georgia Tech as coach Kevin Keatts told reporters: "I think we are moving in the right direction.''

Keatts' tight rotation is led by senior guard C.J. Bryce, who paces N.C. State in scoring and rebounding. "I’m playing eight guys right now, and all eight guys could be starters,'' Keatts told reporters. "So, the three guys that are coming off the bench, they’ve been tremendous. Our bench is scoring just as much as the guys starting the game." The Trojans are coming off a 68-58 loss to No. 20 Memphis on Wednesday that was marred by 26 turnovers including 10 by sophomore guard and leading scorer Markquis Nowell, who has played all but one minute this season. "We had our chances, but I don't care who you are playing - if you turn the ball over 26 times, you're not going to win the game," Little Rock coach Darrell Walker told reporters. "It's frustrating because we put ourselves in a position to make a statement but just couldn't get it done."
