Baylor gets a breather and an opportunity to knock some rust off its game when winless Maryland-Eastern Shore limps into Waco, Texas, on Tuesday. The 16th-ranked Bears haven't played since defeating No. 22 Villanova 87-78 on Nov. 24 to win the Myrtle Beach Invitational, so Tuesday's game will be beneficial with No. 11 Arizona visiting Saturday.

Baylor guard Jared Butler scored 22 points against Villanova and paces the Bears with 19.3 points per game while the sharpshooter is shooting 53.4 percent from the field, 21-for-40 from 3-point range and 17-for-17 from the free-throw line. "It seems like the bigger the moment, the better he plays," Baylor coach Scott Drew told reporters after Butler was named tournament MVP. "We have quite a few players who don't shy away from big moments, but Jared really is able to raise his level down the stretch of games and in big situations." The Shore Hawks lost 66-45 at Fordham on Sunday for their ninth consecutive setback to open the season. UMES, which lost at Oklahoma 91-64 on Nov. 21, has been outscored by nearly 24 points per game and its minus-10 rebounding margin was tied for 341st among the 350 Division I teams entering Monday.
