Wichita State will try to complete the Okie Double when it hosts Oklahoma on Saturday. The Shockers knocked off Oklahoma State on the road Sunday behind the play of freshman Tyson Etienne and will look to thwart the Sooners in a battle of one-loss teams.

Etienne is already reminding some of past Wichita State greats Ron Baker and Landry Shamet in how he moves without the ball and sets up open lanes for passes. The guard from New Jersey, who is shooting 46.2 percent from 3-point range - good for 22nd nationally through Friday - and leads the American Athletic Conference with 24 3s, enjoyed one of his better games with 19 points and five 3-pointers in an 80-61 victory over Oklahoma State. "He's very coachable and he listens," coach Gregg Marshall told the media. "We talk a lot about finding the window. When the penetration occurs, find the window. He's really good at it and he's getting better." Kristian Doolittle notched his first 20-point game of the season with 28, including a late 3-pointer to help the Sooners outlast North Texas.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA (7-1): Austin Reaves will get his first taste of this rivalry from the other side after playing in two games as a member of Wichita State. The junior guard from Arkansas, who leads the Sooners and is third in the Big 12 in scoring with 17.6 points per game, appeared in 66 games for the Shockers, averaging 6.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Reaves sat out 2018-19 under transfer rules, but wasted no time in making an impact for the Sooners as he scored 23 points in the season opening win over Texas-San Antonio and has hit double figures in every game while posting his first career double-double.

ABOUT WICHITA STATE (8-1): Erik Stevenson and Jamarius Burton have been the players most responsible for feeding Etienne and the rest of the Shockers as the duo has combined for 6.9 assists per game. Stevenson, a sophomore who leads the team in scoring and is second in rebounding, is one of the top players in Division I in assist to turnover ratio, ranking ninth at 3.86. Burton, also a sophomore, had a career-high 11 assists against Oklahoma State to climb to a tie for 26th in Division I with a 2.82 assist-turnover ratio for the Shockers, who have won eight straight games at home.

TIP-INS

1. With Reaves and Doolittle, the Sooners are one of three teams from a major conference along with Creighton and Vanderbilt to have two players averaging 16 points or more.

2. Wichita State, which will face Oklahoma for the fourth straight season having dropped the last two meetings, has never beaten the Sooners and Cowboys in the same season.

3. Etienne's KenPom Efficiency Rating of 128.3 was second among Division I freshmen to Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis (131.8) and 19th overall.

PREDICTION: Wichita State 78, Oklahoma 74
