Brady Heslip was a sharp shooter for Baylor from 2011-14, shooting 44 percent from behind the arc, but on Saturday he provided words of encouragement to struggling Devonte Bandoo. The senior responded with 14 of his 16 points in the second half against Oklahoma State, and now the second-ranked Bears will try to extend their winning streak to 15 games when Oklahoma comes to town on Monday for a big 12 contest.

Bandoo, who averages 7.7 points on 41.1 percent shooting, had hit just one of his last nine shots from the floor - including 0-for-4 from 3-point range - before talking to Heslip, but Bandoo helped the Bears rebound from a 12-point, second-half deficit with four 3-pointers in the Bears' 75-68 victory on Saturday. "I was just trying to get some words of wisdom from him, just trying to figure things out," Bandoo told reporters of Heslip, who was attending the game. "Even though one person might not have a good night, we're so deep that anyone can step in and have a great night." Baylor's 14-game winning streak is tied for the 3rd-longest in program history (17 in 2011-12 and 15 in 2016-17) and is the nation's 2nd-longest active streak behind San Diego State (19). Oklahoma will try and interrupt history after snapping a two-game losing skid with an 83-63 victory over TCU on Saturday behind a career-high 31 points from junior Brady Manek.

TIME: 9 p.m. ET TV: ESPN

ABOUT OKLAHOMA (12-5, 3-2 Big 12): Manek (15.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 43.4 percent on 3-pointers), who shot just 4-of-16 and 2-of-9 from beyond the arc in Tuesday's loss to Kansas, connected on a career-high seven 3-pointers in nine attempts and added nine rebounds. "We had better ball movement today than what we have had," Sooners coach Lon Kruger told reporters. "Our guys did a good job of breaking down the defense with the dribble drive and kicking it out to our shooters. We did better making the extra pass." Junior guard Austin Reaves (15.1 points, 39.9 percent shooting) is averaging 12.2 points per game in conference games, but shooting just 20.8 percent from behind the arc.

ABOUT BAYLOR (15-1, 5-0): Two of Baylor's five starters didn't score, with Davion Mitchell and Mark Vital going a combined 0-for-7 from the field. However, Jared Butler (16.9 points, 3.3 assists, 43 3-pointers) and Freddie Gillespie (9.8 points, 8.9 rebounds) had game-high scoring honors with 17 points and Bandoo's season high helped the Bears' bench outscore the Cowboys' reserves 32-22. The Sooners will have to keep an eye on Butler, who takes one-third of the Bears' shots while he's on the floor - highest percentage in Big 12 games - and ranks among the Top 10 in assist and steal percentage, fouls drawn and free-throw percentage.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. Oklahoma leads the all-time series 45-17, but the Bears are 5-1 over the last three seasons. Baylor swept the series last season with a 77-47 win in Norman, OK and a 59-53 victory in Waco, Texas when Bandoo scored 19 points, including a key late 3-pointer.

2. With his final two points - a pair of free throws in the final minute with the game well in hand - Manek became the 46th Sooners player to reach the 1,000-point career mark.

3. Baylor will honor the 93rd anniversary of the 1927 Immortal Ten team by wearing the last names of the Immortal Ten on the backs of their jerseys. That season was canceled after the team bus was hit by a train while traveling to Austin, killing 10 of 22 players, coaches and fans in the Baylor travel party.

PREDICTION: Baylor 77, Oklahoma 70
