Last Meeting ( Mar 2, 2019 ) Texas Tech 81, Texas Christian 66

Teams with identical Big 12 and overall records but at opposite ends of two-game streaks meet Tuesday when No. 18 Texas Tech travels to stumbling TCU. The Red Raiders are coming off double-digit wins over Kansas State and Iowa State, while the Horned Frogs have dropped road contests to West Virginia and Oklahoma by a combined 52 points.

Sophomore Kyler Edwards scored 22 points and drained 5-of-6 shots beyond the arc, the Red Raiders shot 54 percent from the floor and the defense held the Cyclones to 36 percent shooting while forcing 20 turnovers in the 72-52 victory Saturday. "To win a Big 12 game, you have to score enough points," Red Raiders coach Chris Beard said. "As a coach, you sit around and try to figure out how to score those points. It has never been the plan to score all those points on offense. You have to create an offense off of your defense and special teams." Jamie Dixon's crew, which is headed in the opposite direction, lost 81-49 at West Virginia followed by Saturday's 83-63 loss at Oklahoma. The Sooners shot 54 percent from the floor while leading scorer Desmond Bane was held to 12 points on 2-of-10 3-pointers.
