Last Meeting ( Jan 22, 2020 ) Georgia Tech 64, Louisville 68

Fifth-ranked Louisville opened 2020 with a loss but hasn’t looked back since, bringing a 10-game winning streak into Wednesday’s visit to Georgia Tech and looking to improve to 7-0 on the road in ACC play. The Cardinals snapped a nine-game losing streak to Virginia with Saturday’s 80-73 home victory, and junior forward Jordan Nwora continued his stellar season as the conference’s leading scorer finished with 22 points and seven rebounds.

“I just give our guys credit for staying with it,” Louisville coach Chris Mack told reporters postgame. “I don’t think there is one way to beat Virginia. You just have to survive their identity.” Louisville is 21-3 for the first time since 1982-83, and has won 10 straight conference games for the first time since joining the ACC in 2014-15. The Yellow Jackets have dropped two of their past three games and are tied for 10th in the league standings entering Tuesday, committing 22 turnovers in falling 73-64 Saturday at Pittsburgh. “Too many possessions we gave away,” Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner told the media afterward. “That’s not going to win the game.”
