No. 7 San Diego State aims to remain undefeated when it hosts Boise State in Mountain West play on Saturday night. The Aztecs and Auburn are the lone remaining unbeaten teams nationally and San Diego State is four wins away from equaling the school-best 20-0 start that was accomplished by the Kawhi Leonard-led 2010-11 squad.

The Aztecs' 16-game winning streak is the third longest in school history and coach Brian Dutcher said it's a special time for the program. "It's great to look up and see you're one of two undefeated teams left in the country," Dutcher said at a press conference on Thursday. "Now, how long that will go depends on how well we play and obviously how well the opposition plays. So we prepare the game the same way. The kids are focused and they're not getting caught up in the rankings." San Diego State rolled to a 72-52 road victory at Wyoming on Wednesday when it limited the Cowboys to 33.3 percent shooting, including 5 of 22 from 3-point range. Boise State posted a 73-66 home win over UNLV on Wednesday for its fifth victory in the past six games.

TIME: 10 p.m. ET. TV: None.

ABOUT BOISE STATE (11-6, 3-2 Mountain West): Senior guard Justinian Jessup (15.5 scoring average) was 5-of-6 from 3-point range against UNLV to set a school record with 280 career 3-pointers, passing Anthony Drmic (275 from 2011-16). "I just feel so thankful," Jessup said in a postgame press conference. "Shooters aren't anything without the guys that are passing to them so I'm just thankful for those guys that just trusted me and stayed faithful with me even when I had bad games." Senior guard Derrick Alston Jr. recorded 26 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season and he leads the Broncos in scoring at 20.3 points per game.

ABOUT SAN DIEGO STATE (16-0, 5-0): Senior big man Yanni Wetzell scored 17 points on 7-of-7 shooting against Wyoming to raise his scoring average to 11.1 and his shooting percentage to 60.2. Junior point guard Malachi Flynn is the team leader and he tallied 19 points against Wyoming to raise his team-leading average to 16.1. Senior forward Matt Mitchell (11.3) scored just five points on 1-of-7 shooting against the Cowboys after averaging 17 points on 10-of-17 shooting over the previous two contests.

BUZZER BEATERS

1. San Diego State holds a 12-7 series lead but Boise State has won six of the past 10 meetings.

2. Jessup (53) and Alston (39) have combined for 92 of the Broncos' 137 3-point baskets.

3. The Aztecs allow just 56.5 points per game and have held 11 opponents under 60 points.

PREDICTION: San Diego State 62, Boise State 57
