Fourth-ranked San Diego State can match its school record for best start to a season and also tie the program's all-time longest winning streak on Tuesday night when its hosts Wyoming. The Aztecs, the only undefeated team in the nation, will try and match the 20-0 mark set by the Kawhi Leonard-led 2010-11 squad which went on to finish 34-3 and lose in the Sweet Sixteen to eventual national champion Connecticut.

San Diego State won its 10th straight home game on Saturday night but had to rally from a 35-33 halftime deficit to do it, using a 7-0 run to start the second half en route to a 68-55 victory over Nevada. Yanni Wetzell, a 6-10 grad transfer from Vanderbilt, led the way with 17 points and 16 rebounds while junior guard Malachi Flynn, a transfer from Washington State, scored 14 as San Diego State built a 19-point lead after intermission. "I was hoping it would be a game like this," San Diego State coach Brian Dutcher told reporters about his team trailing at halftime for just the second time this season. "I like the fact that it was a close game and that we had to get stops in order to win and that we had to make plays down the stretch and make shots in order to win. I thought that was good for us." Tuesday night's contest doesn't figure to be nearly as close against a Wyoming team that is winless in Mountain West play and already lost at home by 20 points to the Aztecs (72-52) on Jan. 8.

TIME: 11 p.m. ET. TV: CBS Sports Network

ABOUT WYOMING (5-15, 0-8 Mountain West): The Cowboys bring a six-game losing streak into the contest but two of the last three were competitive - a 78-69 overtime home loss to UNLV and a 68-67 loss at Nevada. Wyoming comes in off a 65-50 loss against Fresno State on Saturday, shooting just 34.5 percent from the field for the game and falling behind 31-16 at halftime as the Bulldogs built a 23-point lead early in the second half and cruised home to the easy win. Sophomore guard Hunter Maldonado leads the team in scoring (17.4), which ranks fourth in the Mountain West, rebounds (5.9) and assists (4.0) while senior guard Jake Hendricks is second in scoring (9.9) for the offensively-challenged Cowboys, who are averaging just 60.2 points per game and shooting 40.6 percent from the field.

ABOUT SAN DIEGO STATE (19-0, 8-0): The Aztecs are doing it with their trademark defense, ranking fourth in the nation in scoring defense (56.7 points per game) and seventh in field goal percentage defense (36.5) after holding Nevada to 14.7 percent shooting in the second half and 28.1 for the game. "We couldn't score in the second half," Wolf Pack coach Steve Alford told reporters of his team which was a woeful 5-of-34 from the field. "You make five field goals against a team like this, it will make it hard on you." Flynn leads the team in scoring (16.5), assists (5.0) and steals (1.6) while Wetzell is second (12.2) with junior forward Matt Mitchell (11.1) also averaging in double figures.
