Top-ranked Gonzaga takes aim at its 12th consecutive win when it hosts Brigham Young in West Coast Conference play on Saturday night. The Bulldogs own the nation's longest active homecourt winning streak of 33 games, with the latest triumph being Thursday's 104-54 wipeout of Santa Clara.

Gonzaga won its first two conference games by an average of nine points before exploding to win the last three by an average of 39.7. "We don't take anything for granted. We get everybody's best effort," Bulldogs coach Mark Few said after the win over Santa Clara. "It means you are not slipping up mentally or physically." Few is concerned about a BYU squad that has won eight of its last nine games but Cougars coach Mark Pope certainly is facing the bigger challenge. "Gonzaga is a gift to our league," Pope said after Thursday's 93-70 rout of visiting San Diego. "They’re so good that they can play bad and still win big. We’re excited to go up and fight. Our guys believe they can win. They have a sense of how hard this is, but as athletes, they love that chance to play them."

TIME: 10 p.m. ET. TV: ESPN2

ABOUT BYU (14-5, 3-1 WCC): Sophomore center Kolby Lee averages 8.3 points per game but scored a career-high 21 on 8-of-8 shooting in Thursday's 93-70 rout of San Diego. "Kolby was great to watch because he's growing before our eyes," Pope said afterward. "He’s done a spectacular job staying in his lane and not getting bored. If you leave Kolby or give him an inch, he’s going to finish. It’s a great skill." Sophomore guard Jake Toolson (14.9) and senior guard TJ Haws (13.5) will lead the attack with senior forward Yoeli Childs (20.9 points, 10.1 rebounds) sidelined with a finger injury.

ABOUT GONZAGA (19-1, 5-0): The Bulldogs have won 32 consecutive regular-season WCC games to match a record Pepperdine set from 1991-93. Gonzaga leads the nation in scoring (88.7), and topped 100 for the fourth time this season and had five players score 15 or more points in the annihilation of Santa Clara. Sophomore guard Joel Ayayi scored 19 points to raise his average to 11.3 (fourth on the team), freshman power forward Drew Timme (9.7 points, 5.8 rebounds) had 15 points and matched his season best of 11 rebounds while sophomore power forward Filip Petrusev scored 18 points and continues to lead the squad in scoring (16.7), rebounding (7.9) and blocked shots (1.2).
