Virginia Tech looks to build momentum as it heads to Winston-Salem to visit Wake Forest on Wednesday. The Hokies are coming off of a big road win at Pittsburgh on Saturday, giving them their first conference win, while the Demon Deacons will try to shake off a loss at Boston College.

Kerry Blackshear Jr. turned in a huge performance against Pitt as the sophomore forward dropped a career-high 31 points to help Virginia Tech avoid falling to 0-3 in the ACC. “I've got a bunch of shooters around me, and they were finding me when I was open. It made everything easier,” Blackshear told reporters after the game. Wake Forest comes in desperate for a victory as it embarks on one of the toughest stretches of its schedule. The Demon Deacons play No. 6 Duke twice and host No. 3 Virginia over their next five games.
