Missouri was unable to get a win in front of a largely partisan crowd at the Hall of Fame Classic on Monday, but gets another opportunity to satisfy its local fans against Oklahoma in Tuesday's consolation game at Kansas City, Mo. The Tigers had season lows in made 3-pointers (two) and made free throws (six) in a 63-52 semifinal loss.

Junior guard Dru Smith scored 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting but none of his teammates scored more than 10 and Missouri couldn't recover from an early 18-point hole. "We dug ourselves such a hole in the first half," Tigers coach Cuonzo Martin told the media. "We initially didn't do a great job ... defending the ball screen." The Sooners shot a season-low 37.7 percent in dropping a 73-54 decision to Stanford in the other semifinal. Junior guard Austin Reaves scored a team-high 17 points for Oklahoma, which averaged 79.8 points during its 5-0 start.

ABOUT MISSOURI (4-2): Junior forward Jeremiah Tilmon entered Monday averaging 11.6 points, five rebounds and a team-high two blocks, but was held scoreless in 17 minutes while picking up two boards as he battled foul trouble. "Jeremiah is the heart of our team ... I don't think that's any secret," Smith told reporters. "Even if he does get those two quick (fouls), we've got to keep our heads up." Leading scorer Mark Smith also had a rough night with four points on 1-of-6 shooting.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA (5-1):
Forward Kristian Doolittle, who came into Monday second to Reaves in scoring with 16.5 per game, was held to a season-low four on 2-of-8 shooting against Stanford. He was also 0-for-2 from the foul line as the Sooners finished 4-for-13 after hitting 81.1 percent of their free throws through the first five games. Junior guard Alondes Williams reached double figures for the first time this season with 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting.
