Wisconsin tries to put its struggles in the rearview mirror when it meets New Mexico on Tuesday in the consolation game of the Legends Classic in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Badgers shot a season-low 34 percent from the floor and committed a season-high 15 turnovers in a 62-52 loss to Richmond in Monday's first round that snapped a four-game winning streak.

"I'm not surprised that maybe we didn't shoot it as well," Wisconsin coach Greg Gard told reporters. "I was more disappointed (in) how we took care of the ball - or didn't take care of the ball - and how we settled for quick 3s." The Badgers boast six players scoring at least eight points per game but only two - junior forward Nate Reuvers and sophomore guard Kobe King - reached their average against Richmond. The Lobos committed 24 turnovers in an 84-59 loss to No. 17 Auburn on Monday. New Mexico, which was coming off a 78-77 victory at New Mexico State on Thursday, entered the game 15th in the nation in field-goal percentage at 51.5 but are 200-for-402 after making 25-of-62 on Monday.
