Mississippi State looks to continue with a balanced offensive attack when the Bulldogs host Wisconsin-Green Bay on Monday. Through the opening two games of the season, Mississippi State has six players averaging double-digits in scoring with two others at nine points or better.

Quinndary Weatherspoon leads the way for the Bulldogs at 14.5 points per game while shooting 72.2 percent from the floor. Also averaging 10-plus points include Nick Weatherspoon (11.5), Aric Holman (11.5) and Tyson Carter (10.5), while Abdul Ado and Eli Wright (12 points apiece) have each played in one game. Lamar Peters (9.5) and E.J. Datcher (9.0) are also close to a double-digit average. That group figures to maintain some of that scoring pace against the Phoenix, who will face their toughest test of the early season after splitting games with Northern Illinois (85-65 loss) and Division III Lakeland (Wisconsin) University (98-27 victory)

ABOUT WISCONSIN-GREEN BAY (1-1): The Phoenix are coming off their largest margin of victory in school history. Green Bay set a school and conference record with 71 rebounds, led by Khalil Small who recorded a career-high 12 rebounds in 24 minutes. All 11 Phoenix players scored while Green Bay held Lakeland to 12.2 percent shooting from the floor, including 3-for-48 from behind the 3-point line.

ABOUT MISSISSIPPI STATE (2-0): Redshirt freshman Ado finally made his impact on the Bulldogs, one year after the highly recruited forward was ruled ineligible because of academic transcript issues. In his NCAA debut against Florida A&M, the 6-11 Nigerian-born forward scored 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds in 23 minutes. "It felt great to be out there," Ado told the school's website "Sometimes, I felt this day would never come. I was nervous before the game. My teammates said it's just like practice, except you are playing another team. Do what you can do. That really gave me a lot of confidence.''
