TCU looks to improve to 4-0 on the season when it hosts Omaha in a contest that is part of the Emerald Coast Classic on Monday night. Both teams will head to Destin, Fla., for games on Friday and Saturday to wrap up tournament play.

The Horned Frogs haven't played in five days since escaping with a five-point home win against South Dakota on Wednesday. Senior forward Vladimir Brodziansky has been the top scorer for coach Jamie Dixon, averaging 16.7 points, but he's not the only one, as TCU has four double-figure scorers on its roster. Sophomore guard Desmond Bane is scoring 15.3 points a game, with 10 of his 17 field goals coming from 3-point range, while freshman forward Kouat Noi is contributing 12 points a contest off the bench. The Mavericks are playing their fifth straight game away from home but are coming off a respectable nine-point loss at No. 16 Louisville on Friday night.

ABOUT OMAHA (0-4): The Mavericks are in the middle of a nine-game stretch on the road to start the season, but coach Derrin Hansen's squad has continued to show hustle even when facing large deficits. Omaha trailed by as many as 20 against Louisville but went on runs of 13-1 and 12-0 to stay within striking distance before falling by single digits. The Mavericks rank sixth nationally in steals (42) and 15th in steals per game (10.5), making them dangerous no matter what deficit they're facing.

ABOUT TCU (3-0): The Horned Frogs are unbeaten, but Dixon sees his team -- especially the offense -- as a work in progress. Against South Dakota, TCU was inconsistent offensively, committing 16 turnovers and shooting 38.5 percent from the field in the second half after building a nine-point halftime lead by shooting 53.1 percent. While Dixon has all five starters and eight lettermen overall back from last year's squad that made a run to the NIT title, the Horned Frogs are still looking for the consistency offensively that will keep them winning against some of their tougher opponents.

TIP-INS

1. TCU G Kenrich Williams leads the team in rebounding and ranks fourth in the Big 12, grabbing 8.7 per game.

2. Over the last three seasons, the Horned Frogs have gone 20-2 in the month of November.

3. After averaging 7.1 points as a freshman, Bane has scored in double figures in every game this season.

PREDICTION: TCU 82, Omaha 71
