Last Meeting ( Nov 25, 2014 ) The Citadel 55, Florida State 66
Florida State looks to maintain momentum in the early stages of the season when the undefeated Seminoles host The Citadel on Friday. While the Seminoles figure to have their hands full defensively against The Citadel offense, Florida State is only concerned with its game.
The Seminoles continue to work on figuring out exactly the type of team they are, playing a large rotation of players. In Wednesday's victory against Kennesaw State, Florida State utilized 11 different players on the floor, with 10 seeing at least nine minutes of action. Seminoles head coach Leonard Hamilton expects that to continue as the team continues to prepare for the start of ACC play. "We are a team that is still growing and evolving,'' Hamilton told reporters after Wednesday's victory. "We are trying to develop a system because that’s who we are and we can play with a large amount of energy for a long period of time. We are still trying to develop and work on execution and we aren’t quite there yet. This team has a lot of potential to develop into a very good basketball team, but we still have ways to go. I love the effort and energy from our guys and we just need more games under our belt.''
