Last Meeting ( Dec 3, 2016 ) Prairie View A&M 61, Houston 105

Houston junior guard Corey Davis Jr. will look to keep his hot shooting streak going as the Cougars close their home non-conference schedule on Sunday. The Cougars host Prairie View A&M - a team they've beaten by a combined 85 points the past two years.

Davis has shot 17-of-31 beyond the arc since becoming a regular starter over the past four games. He's averaging 15 points per game in that span, including a season-high 20 points - and a season-high six 3-pointers - in Wednesday's 80-77 loss at LSU. The Panthers - who haven't played at home - are still looking for their first true road win of the season. They got close Thursday, erasing a 17-point second-half deficit before falling at Tulsa 77-73.
