No. 21 Texas Tech will try to continue its momentum heading into Big 12 Conference play. The Red Raiders host Abilene Christian on Friday looking to extend the country's fourth-longest non-conference home win streak.
The Red Raiders, who face ranked Baylor and Kansas to open league play, have won 37 straight non-conference games at home - and 31 have been by double digits. They have eight wins this season by 20 points or more and lead the nation in scoring margin at plus-22.6 after storming past Florida Atlantic 90-54 on Tuesday. The Red Raiders' strong defense - ranked eighth in Division I at 59.7 points allowed - was aided by 14 3-pointers and another balanced stat sheet Tuesday. The Wildcats hit 15 triples in a 109-60 win against NCCAA opponent Arlington Baptist, their fifth win in the past six games.

ABOUT ABILENE CHRISTIAN (8-4): Sophomore center Jalone Friday leads the Wildcats with 15.6 points and shoots 42.9 percent from the 3-point line. Junior wing Jaren Lewis adds 13.9 points and a team-best six rebounds per game, while senior guard Tevin Foster chips in 11.8 points. Junior guard Jaylen Franklin (9.1 points, 5.1 assists), Foster and Lewis each have at least 20 steals as the Wildcats average 9.3 swipes.
ABOUT TEXAS TECH (10-1): Senior guard Keenan Evans leads three Red Raiders in double figures with 17 points per game and a team-high 3.9 assists. Freshman guard Jarrett Culver, who made his first start against Florida Atlantic, adds 10.2 points, while freshman guard Zhaire Smith comes off the bench for 9.8 points. Six more players average at least 14 minutes and at least 5.3 points for the deep Red Raiders, including senior guard Niem Stevenson (8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds).
