Schollmaier Arena

High-scoring William & Mary is standing between undefeated TCU and a school record. A win Friday night would extend the No. 12 Horned Frogs' nation-leading win streak to 17 games and break the school record set in 1997-98.

A balanced offense continues to be key for the Horned Frogs, who open Big 12 Conference play with ranked Oklahoma, Baylor and Kansas teams in an eight-day span. TCU has five players averaging at least 11 points and three more contributing solid points and minutes off the bench. The Tribe have topped 100 points four times, including Sunday's school-record 126-point performance against NAIA school Milligan College. They rank second nationally in field-goal percentage (52.5) and 3-point shooting (46.9) and 14th in scoring (88.2 points).

TV: 9 p.m. ET, FSN Southwest Plus

ABOUT WILLIAM & MARY (7-3): Sophomore forward Nathan Knight leads the Tribe - whose Dec. 9 loss at Ohio State is their only setback in the past seven games - with 19.6 points and ranks second on the team with 7.8 rebounds. Sophomore wing Justin Pierce adds 13.9 points and a team-high 9.1 boards, while senior guard David Cohn contributes 11 points per game and 7.2 assists. Connor Burchfield (13 points per game) and Matt Milon (13.9) have combined to hit 52-of-84 from the 3-point line in the past seven games while the Tribe average 11.9 triples for the season.

ABOUT TCU (11-0): Senior guard Kenrich Williams leads the Horned Frogs with 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds after scoring at least 11 points in eight straight games. Senior forward Vladimir Brodziansky adds 13.7 points on 65.1 percent shooting, while junior JD Miller chips in 11.3 points after a career-high 20 points against Texas Southern. Sophomore point guard Jaylen Fisher contributes 11.1 points and a team-high 6.3 assists for TCU, which is ranked 16th in Division I at 87.6 points.

TIP-INS

1. TCU is 26-2 in non-conference play under second-year coach Jamie Dixon.

2. Brodziansky (1.6 blocks) needs 38 blocks to break the school record of 171.

3. Burchfield (ranked fourth at 56.7 percent) and Milon (ranked seventh at 53.6 percent) are the only pair of teammates ranked in the top 10 nationally in 3-point shooting.

PREDICTION: TCU 92, William & Mary 80
