TCU's success in Big 12 play has largely been dictated by where it plays, and the Horned Frogs have to be looking forward to a stretch filled with home games. They will try to bounce back from a fifth straight road loss and push their home winning streak to eight in a row when they host Oklahoma State on Wednesday for a conference clash.
TCU, which plays six of its next nine at home, allowed Texas Tech and Baylor to shoot a combined 54.9 percent from the floor in consecutive road defeats last week, including the 90-64 embarrassment at the Bears on Saturday. "We're concerned about everything. You can go down the list. We got hammered," coach Jamie Dixon told the media after the team's most lopsided loss in nearly three years. The Cowboys just finished a 1-2 stretch at home, with the lone victory coming against South Carolina in the Big12/SEC Challenge. They've dropped four conference games in a row after Saturday's 75-57 loss to Kansas State.

ABOUT OKLAHOMA STATE (9-12, 2-6 Big 12): The Cowboys trailed by as many as 34 points during Saturday's loss and allowed Kansas State to put together a 19-0 run spanning halftime, making the score a bit more respectable only after a late surge against the Wildcats' reserves. "It's pride, I guess," coach Mike Boynton told reporters. "We were being embarrassed on our home court. You're not allowed to give in. You're not allowed to. It's gonna be at the core of our DNA as this program, is we're gonna always compete to the best that we can, no matter how bad it looks or how good it's going." Junior guard Curtis Jones led the way in the loss with 14 points while the team's leading scorer - junior forward Cameron McGriff (13.2 points per game) - was held to eight on 3-of-10 shooting.
ABOUT TCU (15-6, 3-5): Sophomore forward Kouat Noi leads a balanced attack with 14.9 points per game - 18.5 over his last six contests. Senior guard Alex Robinson continues to lead the Big 12 in assists (7.3) by a wide margin after producing six of them to go along with 16 points in the loss to Baylor. Junior guard Desmond Bane ranks second to Noi on the team in scoring (14.4) but was held to five, his lowest total in Big 12 play, on Saturday.
