The Edmonton Eskimos look to bounce back from a disappointing Week 6 loss when they host the Toronto Argonauts on Thursday. The Eskimos were held to their lowest point total of the season while failing to score a touchdown in the 20-10 defeat to the Montreal Alouettes, and hope to avoid falling six points out of first place in the West Division by extending their home winning streak to five games, dating back to last season.

"We've still got to be better," Edmonton quarterback Trevor Harris told reporters. "I really believe in the guys and the team that we have here." The Argonauts remain the only winless team in the CFL following a 26-16 loss to the Calgary Stampeders. Toronto, which has dropped four of its five games by double digits, turned the ball over seven times en route to its 12th consecutive road loss and hopes to stem the bleeding by avoiding it's first 0-6 start since 1981. "We're having too many mishaps," Toronto coach Corey Chamblin told reporters. "Some of it may be structurally that we can correct, but other things are individual play that needs to get better."

TV: 9:30 p.m. ET, TSN

ABOUT THE ARGONAUTS (0-5): McLeod Bethel-Thompson completed 32-of-42 passes for 343 yards and two touchdowns, but threw four interceptions against Calgary to fall to his ninth straight loss as a starter for Toronto. James Wilder Jr. accounted for 115 yards from scrimmage to go over 3,000 for his career with 3,056, but is questionable for Thursday's clash after suffering a rib injury, while left tackle Isiah Cage is doubtful and could be replaced by Roubbens Joseph. Defensive end Eric Striker, who helped the Oklahoma Sooners win the 2014 Sugar Bowl, traveled to Edmonton and could make his season debut.

ABOUT THE ESKIMOS (3-2): Harris threw for a season-low 271 yards and saw his streak of consecutive passes without an interception end at 228, which was the fifth-longest in CFL history. Wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, who missed the first three games of the season, and defensive back Forrest Hightower are both questionable after leaving early with lower-body injuries against Montreal. Sean Whyte had made 17 consecutive field goals, including seven in a row against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 3, before missing a pair of attempts as Edmonton fell to the Alouettes for the first time since 2013.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Harris leads the CFL in passing yards (1,633).

2. The Argonauts have dropped 19 of their last 23 games dating back to last season.

3. The Eskimos are 15-5 at home since the start of the 2017 season.

PREDICTION: Eskimos 33, Argonauts 20
