Last Meeting ( Jul 29, 2017 ) Hamilton 1, Calgary 60

The Calgary Stampeders look to continue their winning ways when they hit the road to tangle with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday. The Stampeders have won 10 straight games, including a 59-11 victory against the Montreal Alouettes in Week 15, to become the first team in the CFL to clinch a postseason berth and hope to take a big step toward their second West Division title in as many years by beating the Tiger-Cats for the 11th consecutive time.

Calgary has won four games in a row against East Division opponents by an average margin of 35 points, and aim for their sixth straight road win in the series. Hamilton stayed alive in the race for a playoff spot in the East Division with an impressive 30-13 victory against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. June Jones has steadied the ship since taking over the coaching duties from Kent Austin as he's guided Hamilton to four wins in six contests to move within five points of the second-place Ottawa Redblacks with two games in hand, and hopes to lead the Tiger-Cats to their first victory against the Stampeders since Sept. 25, 2011. "The guys are coming together and buying in," Jones told reporters. "The guys are playing with so much confidence and that's really encouraging."

ABOUT THE STAMPEDERS (12-1-1): Wide receiver Kamar Jorden, who was leading the CFL in receiving touchdowns before suffering a knee injury in the 60-1 victory against Hamilton on July 29, returned to practice and could play Friday. "It was definitely a lot longer than I expected but I was trying to be smart with the injury and not come back too soon," Jorden told reporters. "I was rehabbing and making sure when I do get back I'm in a position to help the team and play at the same level I was playing at before." Kick returner Roy Finch injured his ankle against Montreal and will not recover in time to face the Tiger-Cats but wide receiver DaVaris Daniels is expected to return after a three-game injury absence.

ABOUT THE TIGER-CATS (4-10):
Kicker Kenny Allen was added to the active roster with Sergio Castillo, who made 29-of-34 field goal attempts in 2017, set to undergo season-ending surgery after sustaining a knee injury against the Blue Bombers. Jeremiah Masoli continued his stellar play as he threw for 338 yards and two touchdown passes while Alex Green added 97 rushing yards and a score in his first game as the undisputed starter after C.J. Gable was traded to the Edmonton Eskimos on Oct. 2. Wide receiver Brandon Banks and defensive back Abdul Kanneh missed practice because of flu-like symptoms and are questionable for Friday.

EXTRA POINTS

1. Calgary has won the last three meetings with Hamilton by an average margin of 28 points.

2. The Stampeders have given up fewer than 14 points in three straight contests.

3. Banks has caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive games.

PREDICTION: Stampeders 30, Tiger-Cats 17
