Last Meeting ( Sep 24, 2017 ) Calgary 15, Saskatchewan 9

The Calgary Stampeders can clinch the West Division title when they host the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Friday. The Stampeders have reeled off 11 consecutive victories, including a thrilling 28-25 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Week 17, to move on the brink of lifting their fourth division crown in five years, and hope to continue their mastery of the Roughriders by notching their 11th straight win in the series.

Calgary has won its last 18 games at McMahon Stadium with their last five victories coming by an average margin of 31.6 points. Saskatchewan failed to earn their first playoff berth since 2014 following a 33-32 setback to the Ottawa Redblacks, but can punch their ticket to the postseason with another win or a BC Lions loss. The Roughriders blew a 12-point lead in the final 2 1/2 minutes against the Redblacks and hope to bounce back by beating the Stampeders for the first time since July 5, 2013. "Nothing needs to change as we just need to be more detail-oriented and go to work," Saskatchewan wide receiver Bakari Grant told reporters. "It gives us an opportunity to face one of the best teams in the league and show what we can do."

TV: 9 p.m. ET, TSN

ABOUT THE ROUGHRIDERS (8-7): Kevin Glenn finished 29-of-39 for 387 yards with touchdown passes to Caleb Holley and Kienan LaFrance, but threw two interceptions that proved costly against Ottawa. Big-play wide receiver Duron Carter had a huge night in a losing cause as he hauled in 11 passes for a career-high 231 yards to surpass 1,000 for the second time in four CFL seasons. Wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt caught three passes for 29 yards before suffering a head injury midway through the fourth quarter and is questionable for Friday's clash while Saskatchewan added veteran slotback Chris Getzlaf to the roster after he was released by the Edmonton Eskimos earlier in October.

ABOUT THE STAMPEDERS (13-1-1): Kamar Jorden caught five passes for 58 yards and a touchdown against Hamilton after missing the previous eight games with a leg injury while Marquay McDaniel had six receptions for 87 yards before suffering a muscle strain, but is expected to suit up Friday. "It felt good to get back out there with my guys and go into battle," Jorden told reporters. "I definitely had to shake off a little rust in the beginning but my leg and everything felt good." Calgary wide receiver DaVaris Daniels has missed the last four games with a knee injury and could return Friday while dynamic kick returner Roy Finch, who has three punt-return touchdowns in 2017, is questionable after sitting out last Friday's win.
