Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Texas A&M Aggies Match Player Stats On Oct 26, 2019

Texas A&M junior quarterback Kellen Mond passed for three touchdowns and ran for two more to lead the Aggies to a 49-30 win over Mississippi State in an SEC game Saturday at College Station, Texas.

Mond completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 234 yards, and he rushed nine times for 76 yards. He guided the Aggies to 8 of 11 conversions on third down. Texas A&M scored touchdowns on all six of its trips to the red zone.

Texas A&M (5-3, 3-2 SEC) was led on the ground by Isaiah Spiller's 90 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries. Three receivers caught a touchdown pass, including true freshman tight end Jalen Wydermyer, who scored on a 52-yard reception from Mond early in the third quarter to increase the lead to 35-10.

Kylin Hill had 150 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries to lead Mississippi State (3-5, 1-4).

Texas A&M built a 28-10 halftime lead behind two touchdown passes and two scoring runs by Mond, who completed 12 of 17 passes for 131 yards with no interceptions in the first half.

After Mond rushed for two scores in the first quarter, Mississippi State's Garrett Shrader, who struggled with his accuracy from the start, connected on a 32-yard pass to Stephen Guidry with 13:28 left in the second quarter to cut the lead to 14-7.

Shrader finished the game completing 13 of 30 attempts for 194 yards.

Mond led Texas A&M to two scores in the second quarter -- a 19-yard strike to Jhamon Ausbon that capped a 65-yard drive and a 16-yard connection with Kendrick Rogers that came three plays after cornerback Debione Renfro recovered a fumble at the Mississippi State 19.

After Spiller's 4-yard touchdown run gave Texas A&M a 42-17 lead in the third quarter, Mississippi State responded with a 79-yard drive, capped by Hill's 1-yard scoring run with 12:26 left in the game.

Cordarrian Richardson put the game out of reach with a 2-yard touchdown run with 5:00 left after Keldrick Carper recovered a fumble from Guidry at the Bulldogs' 42.
