No. 7 Oklahoma State scored 27 straight points in the second half to overcome a 17-point deficit and beat No. 8 Texas A&M, 30-29, in College Station on Saturday.

Brandon Weeden set school records for completions, attempts and yards and the defense forced four second-half turnovers for the Cowboys (4-0, 1-0 Big 12), who beat the Aggies in similar fashion last season.

Texas A&M cruised through the first half with a 20-3 lead but looked like a different team defensively out of the locker room. Oklahoma State found the end zone on each of its first three second-half possessions to take the lead, 24-20.

Cowboys All-American wide receiver Justin Blackmon, who had a touchdown reviewed after he lost the ball earlier in the third quarter, had a sure touchdown become a turnover when he failed to tuck the ball away and had it fly out of his hands in front of the goal line. It bounced out of bounds in the end zone, giving it back to Texas A&M on a touchback.

Ryan Tannehill could not take advantage of the lucky break, throwing his second interception three plays later.

The Cowboys did not waste their chance, turning the interception into three points with a field goal at the 14:06 mark of the fourth quarter to go up, 27-20.

Oklahoma State would add another field goal before the Aggies (2-1, 0-1) finally scored their first points of the second half, driving 80 yards in 15 plays and cutting it to 30-27 when Tannehill found Jeff Fuller for a 4-yard touchdown with 2:20 remaining.

Texas A&M got one more chance but committed its fourth turnover of the second half when James Thomas intercepted Tannehill with 1:30 to play.
