Texas-San Antonio 33, South Alabama 31: Sean Ianno hit his fourth and final field goal with less than a minute remaining to send the Roadrunners past the host Jaguars.

Kam Jones added 81 yards receiving and a score for UTSA, which is making the jump to the Western Athletic Conference from the FCS this season.

Ianno's career-long 51-yard field goal was vindication for the sophomore kicker after his potential game-winning field goal was blocked in last season's 30-27 double-overtime loss to South Alabama. The Jaguars are transitioning into the Sun Belt, where they'll become a full-time member next year.

In a wild back-and-forth affair that saw three fourth-quarter lead changes, UTSA took a 27-24 advantage on Eric Soza's third touchdown pass of the game.

Ianno added a field goal to extend the lead to 30-24 midway through the fourth quarter following South Alabama's fourth turnover of the game, but the Jaguars rallied to take the lead on Jereme Jones' 34-yard touchdown reception with 2:46 left.

However, a personal foul by the Jaguars on the subsequent kickoff aided a short drive that ended with Ianno's game-winner with 16 seconds remaining.

C.J. Bennett finished 15 of 24 with two touchdowns for South Alabama.
