No. 18 Michigan 63, Massachusetts 13: Denard Robinson threw three touchdown passes and ran for another as host Michigan overwhelmed Massachusetts.
Robinson accounted for 397 total yards by throwing for 291 on 16-of-24 passing and rushing for 106 yards on 10 carries to lead the Wolverines (2-1) to their 17th consecutive victory at Michigan Stadium in September.
Vincent Smith had a pair of short scoring runs and Fitzgerald Toussaint ran for 85 yards and a touchdown as Michigan bolted to a 42-13 halftime lead and rolled up 585 yards of total offense against the overmatched Minutemen.
UMass (0-3) scored its only touchdown on a 32-yard interception return for a touchdown by Christian Birt to pull within 21-10 early in the second quarter, but Robinson atoned for the turnover by throwing a 42-yard scoring pass to Devin Gardner and rushing 36 yards for a TD in a span of less than three minutes to build the lead to 35-10.
Mike Wegzyn threw for 141 yards and Michael Cox rushed for 76 yards on 18 carries for the Minutemen, who lost at Michigan 42-37 during the 2010 season.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Robinson vaulted into fifth place on the school's career passing list, surpassing Jim Harbaugh and Tom Brady. He also had his 16th career 100-yard rushing game. ... UMass, in its first full season as an FBS member, has been outscored 145-19 in its first three games. ... The Wolverines improved to 31-1 all time against current members of the Mid-American Conference.
