No. 3 Ohio State 76, Florida A&M 0: Kenny Guiton tossed a school-record six touchdowns in the first half as the third-ranked Buckeyes routed the visiting Rattlers in their final non-conference tilt.
With Heisman Trophy hopeful Braxton Miller nursing a sprained left knee ligament, Guiton (24-for-34, 215 yards) dissected FCS representative Florida A&M (1-3) by throwing touchdown passes to five different receivers. Guiton found Evan Spencer for a 15-yard score just prior to halftime to set the school record, which was shared by Bobby Hoying (1994, 1995) and John Borton (1952).
Spencer reeled in two touchdown receptions and Jordan Hall rushed for two scores for the Buckeyes (4-0), who bolted out to a 55-0 advantage at intermission. Ezekiel Elliott (14 carries, 162 yards) also rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter as Ohio State exclusively ran the ball en route to extending the nation's longest winning streak to 16 games.
The Buckeyes wasted little time dismantling Florida A&M, only requiring one to two plays in order to score three of their five touchdowns in the first quarter. Ohio State enjoyed a mammoth 326-54 edge in total yards at halftime while recording 21 of the game's 22 first downs.
Damien Fleming completed 10-of-16 passes for just 30 yards and one interception for the Rattlers.
