Army 34, Boston College 31: Quarterback Trent Steelman ran for 141 yards and three touchdowns as Army received triple digit rushing efforts from three different players to upset Boston College in West Point.
Raymond Maples (184) and Larry Dixon (128) also topped the century mark for the Black Knights (1-4), who took the lead for good on Steelman's 29-yard scamper with 45 seconds to play.
Andre Williams rushed for a career-best 191 yards on 21 carries for the Eagles (1-4), including a 99-yard touchdown run that tied the all-time NCAA record.
With Boston College trailing 14-7 early in the second quarter and pinned back at their own 1-yard line after an Army punt, Williams busted through a stacked box from the Black Knights' defense and ran the length of the field to tie the game and match a feat only accomplished by eight others in the history of FBS football.
Chase Rettig threw for 234 yards on 16-of-29 passing for the Eagles, while Steelman added 79 yards through the air in his big day for Army.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Army's win snaps a five-game losing streak against Boston College and is just their second win in the last 15 meetings in the series... With 516 yards on the ground, Army blew past their season rushing average of 367.5 yards per game... Williams' efforts led the Eagles to 186 total rushing yards, besting their previous season total of 166.
