West Virginia 37, Texas Tech 34: Josh Lambert's career-long 55-yard field goal with no time left gave the visiting Mountaineers a stunning win over the Red Raiders.

Lambert, who had earlier missed from 47 yards, made no mistake on his fourth attempt of the afternoon as West Virginia (4-2, 2-1 Big 12) capped a 14-point fourth-quarter comeback in style. Clint Trickett overcame a slow start to finish with 301 passing yards and a pair of scores while Rushel Shell added 110 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Davis Webb threw for 348 yards with three TDs and one interception for Texas Tech (2-4, 0-3), which amassed 565 yards of offense but went just 6-of-18 on third down. DeAndre Washington had 132 rushing yards on a career-high 29 carries while Devin Lauderdale led the aerial attack with 112 receiving yards and a pair of long scores.

Webb was sensational in helping the Red Raiders build a 21-10 first-half advantage. He connected with Lauderdale for a pair of TD passes in the first quarter - the second a 76-yard strike down the sideline - and added a 43-yard touchdown toss to Jakeem Grant, who blazed into the end zone untouched.

The lead grew to 14 late in the third quarter before the Mountaineers responded on Trickett's 56-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Jordan Thompson in the middle of the field. Justin Stockton's 69-yard touchdown run restored the Red Raiders' two-TD advantage, but West Virginia roared back on Trickett's 26-yard scoring strike to Kelvin White and Shell's 1-yard TD run that capped a seven-play, 78-yard drive with just over two minutes left in regulation.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lambert has connected on field goals of 53 yards or longer in three straight weeks and is 9-of-11 on attempts of 40 yards or longer on the season. ... White, who came into the week leading the nation with 765 receiving yards, finished with 13 catches for 123 yards and has reached triple digits in yardage in all six games this season. ...
