No. 23 Texas Christian 49, Baylor 21: Trevone Boykin completed 22 of 30 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns and added a rushing score to lead the Horned Frogs to the road win.
Cam White had the first two touchdown catches while Josh Boyce added eight receptions for 85 yards and a score. Boyce added a rushing touchdown for TCU (5-1, 2-1 Big 12), which held a Bears offense averaging 601.5 total yards to 432 while forcing six turnovers.
Baylor (3-2, 0-2) had only five turnovers in its first four games and had averaged 54.3 points.
Bears quarterback Nick Florence went 12-of-19 for 289 yards and two touchdowns but was picked off four times.
Terrance Williams finished with three catches for 163 yards and touchdowns covering 74 and 77 yards for Baylor. His second score cut the lead to 28-21 late in the third quarter but the Horned Frogs closed it out with 21 unanswered points.
GAME NOTEBOOK: The loss snapped Baylor's streak of scoring 45 or more points at eight games. ... TCU is 22-6 under coach Gary Patterson in regular-season games following a loss. The Horned Frogs have not lost back-to-back games since 2007. ... TCU could have recorded another turnover when Bears RB Jarred Salubi dropped a wide-open pass in the third quarter. Replays showed the ball kicked off Salubi's foot and into Kenny Cain's hands but the play was not reviewed or contested.
