Oklahoma State 31, Iowa State 10: J.W. Walsh passed for 415 yards and accounted for two scores for the host Cowboys, who also received a dominant defensive effort.
Running back Joseph Randle added 151 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries for Oklahoma State (4-2, 2-1 Big 12). Randle tied the game with a 4-yard run in the first quarter and added a 12-yard score after Daytawion Lowe's third-quarter interception.
The Cowboys outgained Iowa State 625-341. OSU forced eight
punts, two turnovers and a red-zone stop after Iowa State (4-3, 1-3)
took a 10-7 lead with 3:17 left in the first quarter.
Walsh went 32-of-47 and hit Charlie Moore, who finished with eight catches for 129 yards, for a 74-yard touchdown to make it 17-10 with 12:52 left in the second quarter. Walsh capped the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run, set up by Randle's 62-yard run up the middle.
Jared Barnett finished 19-of-39 for 206 yards, a touchdown to Jeff Woody and an interception for the Cyclones.
GAME NOTEBOOK: OSU coach Mike Gundy passed his former coach, Pat Jones, to become the winningest coach in school history with 63 victories ... Iowa State was held to 101 rushing yards and hasn't had a 100-yard rusher since Week 1 ... The option pitch on Woody's score was ruled a forward pass, giving the junior running back his first career touchdown reception.
