No. 15 Texas A&M 56, Vanderbilt 24: Johnny Manziel threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns as the host Aggies overcame four turnovers.
Manziel hit his first 10 passes and finished 25-of-35 passing and Texas A&M (6-2, 3-2 SEC) scored on its first four possessions. Mike Evans had 77 yards and two touchdowns on five catches and Brandon Williams and Trey Williams each had rushing scores.
Patton Robinette went 15-of-28 for 216 yards but was intercepted twice in his first start at Vanderbilt (4-4, 1-4). Jordan Matthews had eight catches for 92 yards and Jonathan Krause had three catches for 89 yards and a score before leaving with a leg injury in the third quarter.
Manziel had three passing touchdowns - including a 43-yarder to Evans - in the first quarter and the Aggies led 28-0 early in the second quarter on Trey Williams' 11-yard run. A Vanderbilt onside kick set up Robinette's 30-yard touchdown pass to Krause and Kenny Ladler's interception - the first of the four straight Aggie turnovers - led to Jerron Seymour's 4-yard run with 47 seconds left in the half, making it 28-17.
Texas A&M's Howard Matthews returned an interception 26 yards on the first snap of the second half and - after back-to-back fumbles - the Aggies extended the lead to 42-17 on Manziel's second touchdown to Derel Walker. Aggies backup quarterbacks Matt Joeckel and Kenny Hill each led touchdown drives in the second half.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Jordan Matthews (3,172 yards) passed former Georgia WR Terrence Edwards (3,093 yards) as the SEC career leader in receiving yards on a 17-yard catch late in the first half. ... The Aggies have scored 40 or more points in 11 consecutive games, the longest streak in FBS. ...
