No. 13 Oklahoma 51, No. 21 Oklahoma State 48 (OT): Brennan Clay scored on an 18-yard touchdown run in the first overtime and Landry Jones threw for 500 yards and became the Big 12's all-time passing yardage leader to lift the host Sooners to a come-from-behind victory in the Bedlam game.
After Quinn Sharp's 26-yard field goal on the opening possession of overtime gave Oklahoma State a 48-45 lead, Clay's run came on second-and-3. The Sooners (9-2, 7-1 Big 12) tied the game at 45 when quarterback Blake Bell, who specializes in short-yardage situations near the goal line, scored on a 4-yard run on fourth-and-1 with 4 seconds left.
Jones completed a school-record 46 passes in 71 attempts and three touchdowns, one week after throwing for a school-record 554 in the Sooners' 50-49 victory at West Virginia. Oklahoma's Jalen Saunders had an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown and caught 10 passes for 162 yards and a score.
Joseph Randle matched a career high with four touchdowns and quarterback Clint Chelf passed for 253 yards and a score, and rushed for another 63 yards for Oklahoma State (7-4, 5-3), which led by 11 late in the third quarter. Josh Stewart had 11 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown.
The Cowboys took a 38-27 lead on Randle's 7-yard touchdown run with 4:17 left in the third quarter before the Sooners tied the game on Saunders' punt return and Jones' two-point conversion pass to Justin Brown with 14:36 remaining. J.W. Walsh's 2-yard run with 10:41 left gave Oklahoma State a 45-38 lead.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Jones has 16,124 career passing yards, surpassing the old mark of 15,793 set by Texas Tech's Graham Harrell in 2008. ... The Sooners set school records with three 100-yard receivers, including Brown (146) and Kenny Stills (103, touchdown), and two receivers with 10 or more receptions (Brown, 15). ... Randle, a junior, has 40 career rushing touchdowns.
